Absolute Swagger is the blend of their talents, designs, interests, life motivations, and all around good times, resulting in their stylish products (often with a touch of whimsy) meant to enhance your life and/or body in some way. Their merging of talents and experiences brings a flavor of old school and new, of polished and raw, a primitive/industrial mesh that they express in an array of products featuring leathers and metals. Teri and Heather bring a broad spectrum of theatrical exposure from onstage to back stage (each having 10+ years of experience), as well as their separate and mutual world travel. This union brings a nuance of eye-catching details to their creations.</image:caption>

My work explores identity, transformation, resilience, and the emotional experiences that shape us. I’m drawn to bold color, layered texture, and expressive movement, allowing each painting to develop intuitively. My inspiration comes from life experiences, travel, personal growth, and the unexpected moments that make life meaningful. For me, painting is more than creating something visually beautiful—it’s a way of processing emotions, telling stories, and connecting with others. I hope my work invites people to pause, feel something, and find their own meaning within it.</image:caption>

Her career was in the public health field, starting in Philadelphia, extending to Richmond VA and Albany NY. But photography was always her go to for relaxation and solace. She comes from a family of artists: her father, daughter, nephew and grandmother. This talent she did not acquire, however once she picked up her Canon she knew she was onto something. Portraits and events were the first things she tackled. She then started refining her skills since moving to concentrate on landscape and still life. Her still life photography concentrates on items found in nature and includes projects such as farm to table vegetables and fruits; shells, rocks and marine life found along the shorelines in Delaware.</image:caption>

Each book Carolyn creates is bound by hand and one-of-a-kind, crafted with thrifted materials from local vintage shops or unique fabrics acquired for special projects. Her favorite part of the binding process is creating the cover, which usually consists of repurposed fabric (curtains, placemats, doilies, etc.) that she turns into bookcloth, sometimes adorning the finished cover with reclaimed trinkets such as brooches, charms, and buttons. Finding an artistic way to recycle materials and decor from bygone eras is what makes bookbinding so fun for Carolyn, and she loves the excitement she sees in someone's eyes when they find a book that they vibe with, especially fellow writers who are always looking for a good place to jot down their ideas.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Art has always been a way for me to connect with the places and moments that inspire me most. I’m especially drawn to the beauty of the coast, the movement of the water, changing skies, weathered shells, shore birds, and the quiet details found along the shoreline. Through painting, I try to capture not only what I see, but also the feeling and sense of connection these places can evoke. I grew up in Newark, Delaware, and later spent twenty years in Chester County, Pennsylvania, before settling in Ocean View, Delaware. Although I had always been creative and drawn to art, it wasn’t until the end of 2016 that I began taking painting lessons at Willowdale Art Academy, that I discovered how much I loved painting. Today, my work is largely inspired by coastal landscapes and the natural beauty of the shore. Seascapes, waves, oyster shells, shore birds, and other coastal subjects continue to find their way onto my canvas, reflecting both my surroundings and my connection to life by the water. I began painting primarily in acrylics and later developed a love for oils because of their richness, depth, and ability to build beautiful layers of color. I continue to work in both mediums, choosing the one that best suits the subject and the feeling I want to convey. For me, painting is about more than creating an image. It gives me a chance to slow down, focus, and appreciate the beauty in the world around me. My hope is that my work brings that same sense of beauty, calm, and connection into the homes and spaces where it lives.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Andreea is the artist behind Lemnuel, a Romanian living in the US since 2023 and currently based in Milton, Delaware. For those wondering about the unusual name of her small business, “Lemnuel” means “little wood” in Romanian—and, well, most of her work is small art on little pieces of wood. Back in Romania, she attended an art high school, so she’s always been an artist at heart. She eventually stepped away from art and took a different path for university, but years later, she rediscovered her passion for painting. She started creating again, and what began as a creative outlet eventually grew into her full-time job. When she moved to the US, she had to leave her business behind and start everything from scratch all over again. In many ways, she feels like she’s still in the process of finding Lemnuel USA’s new identity and figuring out what this chapter looks like. Most of her work is acrylic painting on wood, functional art like souvenirs, magnets, bookmarks, cards, keychains, ornaments, notebooks, etc., as well as framed watercolor illustrations. Her work tends to be on the colorful, whimsy, “puts a smile on your face” side. She loves being able to bring a little bit of color and joy into someone’s home, even if it’s through something as small as a souvenir. When she’s not painting, Andreea works part-time as a linguist, spends time with her husband and her dog, chills by the ocean, plans and takes trips, loses track of time in all the thrift stores in her area, plays video games, board games, binge-watches TV shows, and yells at her TV while watching the Eagles play.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Jessie is a silversmith, stone collector, detail enthusiast, and the hands and heart behind Midnights & Moonstone. Her journey into jewelry making didn’t start in a studio or at a workshop. It started during one of the hardest chapters of her life, when everything felt heavy and uncertain. In the middle of that darkness, she found herself watching YouTube silversmithing tutorials — partly out of curiosity, partly as a lifeline toward something that felt even a little bit like light. She has always loved jewelry, especially the kind that feels like a little treasure you get to carry with you. So after months of learning and dreaming, she invested in a few basic tools. For over a year now, she has been handcrafting jewelry in her home studio — shaping silver, setting stones, and creating every piece for Midnights & Moonstone with intention and heart. This craft helped her heal, rediscover purpose, and reconnect with her creativity. Each piece is made with care, a bit of resilience, and plenty of that “quiet magic” feeling that inspired her brand’s name.</image:caption>

Established in 2008, Night Owl Designs came to be as a result of Nicole's intense insomnia (hence the name Night Owl). Catch her at events or behind the counter of her store South Street Art Mart in Philadelphia.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Making soap is a passion for Kerry Stewart of Tall Oak Trading Company. She relies on her herbs harvested from her garden. Calendula, chamomile, parsley, spearmint and sage are used to color her soaps and essential oils are used to scent them. In addition to soaps, Kerry also makes mineral bath salts, a lavender safe lotion stick, Calendula chamomile salve, rose or vanilla and cardamom lip balm, cardamom orange body butter, grapefruit and tea tree deodorant, and much more.</image:caption>

After her Mother's passing, art became a healing place for Phoebe—a peaceful space for her to rebloom. Watercolors and loose florals have her heart. She'd like to share that with you, and especially seniors.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Randee Exler's work centers around abstract collage—bold, playful, and rich with color, texture, and layered energy. Using found imagery, hand-drawn elements, papers, and inks, she creates whimsical compositions that spark curiosity and invite the viewer to linger. Primarily self-taught, her artistic journey has evolved through a mix of intuition, relentless experimentation, “happy accidents” and asking lots of questions. For Randee, making art is a meditation in joy, color, and connection.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Dan of Scrolling it Out Woodworks, has been scroll-sawing since the age of 10 when his grandfather gave him his first scroll saw as a birthday gift. His first craft show item? Pacman necklaces! Since the first saw, he has produced many different items including ornaments, puzzles, nativity scenes, pictures and keychains. Every piece is handmade by Dan using a scroll saw. While each piece might appear the same, it’s one of a kind. Together with his wife Phoebe, who creates many of the ornament designs, the couple enjoys traveling to shows, meeting new shoppers and seeing long-time customers.</image:caption>
