In this 3 hour beginner workshop, you’ll create a crossbody bag while exploring many fibers and learn about wet felting with Sharon from Davis Crafted.

Wet felting is a traditional fiber art technique that transforms wool or other natural fibers into a dense, durable fabric by using moisture, heat, and agitation. The process involves layering raw wool, sprinkling it with warm, soapy water, and then repeatedly rolling, rubbing, or pressing the fibers together. As the wool’s tiny scales catch and bond, it forms a tightly interlocked material known as felt. This versatile craft is used to create everything from clothing and accessories to decorative items and art pieces, and it offers a tactile, hands-on way to explore the unique properties of wool.

Bring your plants indoors for the season and give them a beautiful new home! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create one or two handmade macramé plant hangers to add a cozy, natural touch to your space.

Learn the basics of macramé while creating something beautiful and functional. Hang your favorite plants throughout your home and bring a little more greenery and warmth to every corner!

Bring your own beverage and snacks and enjoy a fun, creative evening at Queenie’s! Feel free to BYOB and make yourself comfortable while you create.

Create a beautiful stained glass-inspired holiday tree to brighten your home for the season! Using pre-cut stained glass pieces, you’ll arrange and glue your colorful glass onto a free-standing wooden tree substrate to create your own unique mosaic design.

During the second class, you’ll learn how to grout your finished mosaic and add a touch of sparkle with beautiful flat-back Austrian crystals.

No stained glass experience necessary—just come ready to create, get a little messy, and have fun!

This is a two-part class!

Part 1: Friday, December 4th at 5:00-7:00PM — Create your stained glass design and glue the pieces in place.

Part 2: Saturday, December 5th at 4:00-5:00 PM — Complete your project by grouting and finishing your mosaic.

Please plan to attend both sessions to complete your project.

Cost: $40 per person
